The Independent Community Bankers of America, an association of small local banks which gives us clout to offer products and services that would otherwise be available only at mega-banks, designed this campaign. Its purpose is to bring awareness to the importance of community banks in the financial recovery and stability of the US throughout the year, but especially to promote Community Banking Month in April 2012.
